Nikon D60
The Nikon D60 is a 10.2 mp DSLR aimed at consumers in general, usually an upgrade or point and shoot film camera. Announced in January 2008, comes 10 months after its predecessor, the D40x. The new D60 is a world apart from the Nikon D40x with instead of opting for a series of small improvements rather than something groundbreaking.
The D60 has the same 10.2 megapixel sensor and 2.5 inch screen of its predecessor, along with the body almost the same and the controls. New to the D60 is a stop-motion recording mode, eye sensor that turns off the screen when looking through the viewfinder, D-Lighting for the preservation of detail in bright highlights and dark shadow areas, and a anti - dust system that shakes both the low pass filter, using the air flow system Nikon's new to channel particles away from the image.
Without doubt, the biggest difference is the option to buy the D60 in a kit with a stabilized kit lens affordable. The new DX Nikkor 18-55mm IS optical renovated and can hold at shutter speeds three times slower than normal, while offering fast and quiet approach - impressive for a target of budget kit.

By sharing the same specifications as the anterior nucleus D40x but the D60 also inherits its drawbacks. Thus, based on 3-point AF system is the same as the dependence of lens auto focus motor built. In the same sensor and optical path, no Live View.
But the D60 has its predecessor measurement is easy to use and almost impermeable, with the aim of the new stabilized kit, makes it an ideal place for those buying their first digital SLR. It has come against stiff competition, sandwiched between its junction Nikon D40 and D80 models and hurled head-selling Canon EOS 400D / XTi.

In terms of new features, there is nothing really new. It is well to combat dust facilities, but in our tests - as DSLR another - were far from infallible. The D-Lighting can really go into detail on the lights and shadows, but often at the expense of noise in the final - and like other systems to correct tonal range, it does little to no longer be done with a careful lighting and modify the software later.
